Fast Food Free is trying to help kids to eat less fast food. This will help you become healthier and it will make the world a better place.
How to get the job done: Learning about fast food is the first step and coming to Fast Food Free is a great place to start.
Want to know how many calories you burn with exercise and daily activities?
In October of 2008, the concept of Fast Food Free was born. At the time, we had a foreign exchange student living in our home who enjoyed eating fast food. Since I am an environmentalist as well as a vegetarian, my family did not eat at fast food chains. However, my host sister's interest in the food sparked my curiosity. After a lot of research, I found fast food is not only unhealthy it takes a toll on the environment, the animals used for meat and egg production, and farm workers. With these findings, I searched for a non-profit to join to help people eat less fast food when I didn't find one I created my own. Pledge!
As a pediatrician, I thank you for all your hard work on behalf of our world and our kids.
